Welcome to Logos Christian Academy!
We are a premier evangelical Christian classical school in Pinal County. LCA began in 2009 with a handful of students and one teacher. Over the last fifteen years, we have grown to Kinder - 10th grade with a full complement of faculty and administration. Our mission is to equip the emerging generations academically and spiritually for life and ministry and to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for that to be achieved. To further fulfill this, we are currently developing the 11th - 12th grades for the coming 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years.
In Luke chapter eleven Jesus teaches his disciples about prayer. He says, “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?” Our Father is a good Father. Perhaps you're reading this and you're a parent. If that’s the case, think about this. Jesus concludes, “..how much more will your Father in Heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” If you seek after the Lord’s best for your son or daughter, consider the good gift of a classical Christian education. Classical education gives students a sharpness and a tool well used in the hands of a believer.
Whether we are teaching Latin, supporting our world-class student council program, or starting our day worshiping the Lord, our prayer is, “Lord, be glorified.” The Lord has blessed us and he has made us to be a blessing. LCA is a good gift for our students, families, and local churches.
I pray the Lord blesses you and gives you peace. I pray that as you look to LCA as a leader in Christian education you see the brightness and glory of the Lord shining in our students and faculty. Amen.
Mr. Heward,
School Principal
The classical approach to education encompasses time honored methodologies with roots that go back to the Renaissance. It recognizes both differing learning stages in a student’s life and the strategic teaching methods for those stages (trivium). It also employs the integration of other subjects into the primary subject being taught in order to provide a more multi-dimensional understanding and application. As well, it is history-centric, meaning that core humanity classes (Bible, history, and literature) are taught in concert with their historical setting. Finally, Christian classical education provides a solid foundation from a proven Bible-based curriculum that provides an academic foundation with an appropriate level of rigor and spiritual formation that prepares the student for life.
